Before you can Deactivate or Reactivate a user, you must be an Account Owner within a Mox workspace.

Note: The ability to permanently remove a user is not doable via the UI. If you need a team member removed, please send us a message via Chat.

Deactivate User

This action will only take away a user's access to the organization that you deactivate within. They will remain active in all other organizations.

Deactivation will free up a paid License.

Step 1: Navigate to the Team page of your Mox workspace.

Step 2: Click on the team member you wish to deactivate to open the user details in the right-hand panel.

Step 3: Click on Deactivate User.

Step 4: A confirmation window will ask if you are sure that you want to Deactivate this user for this organization, click OK.

The window will refresh and show that the user is now deactivated and their License is 'None.'

If the deactivated user tries to log into Mox and is a member of only one organization, they will see a window that states their account has been deactivated. They will not be able to go further into Mox.

If the deactivated user tries to log into Mox and is a member of multiple organizations, they will see a window that states their account has been deactivated and provide a drop-down for them to select another organization to log into.

Reactivate User

Step 1: Navigate to the Team page of your Mox workspace.

Step 2: Click on the team member you wish to reactivate to open the user details in the right-hand panel.

Step 3: Click on Reactivate User.

Step 4: A confirmation window will ask if you are sure that you want to Reactivate this user for this organization, click OK.

The window will refresh and show that the user is no longer deactivated and their License is 'Purchased.'
