Before you can use comments and reply to collaborate with your team in real time on an asset using any of the Markup Tools, you must be invited to participate in a project.

Step 1: From the Home page, find your review task and click to open the Task Performer page. Alternately, navigate to a project that you have been invited to and open it.

Step 2: Click the main Review button to open the Mox Review tool or if you want to open a specific asset first, hover on its row and click the Review button.

Step 3: If you want to change your markup color, click the last button in the Markup Tools section.

Step 4: You have the option to choose a Rectangle Annotation Tool, an Oval Annotation Tool, a Freehand Annotation Tool, or a Highlight Annotation Tool.

Note: If the Asset is a PDF or AI file with ‘live text’ you will also have the option to use the Text Annotation Tool (shown in 2nd screen capture below).

Step 5: Select which Markup Tool you want to use, click on the asset, and drag to draw the shape or to highlight the specific area you are calling out.

Step 6: In the Create Annotation dialog, use the comment formatting features in the dialog as needed. When finished, click Done.

Comments are stored with the date and time stamp and the user who made the comment or reply.

Step 7: Repeat Steps 5 & 6 as many times as you need on a given asset.

Similarly, you can reply to comments in threaded conversations. You can Delete comments that are no longer needed or use Copy To for placing comments on other assets and/or their pages in your proofing session.
