Before you can upload folders and assets, you must have access to your Mox workspace and have an Editor role or higher.

Use the upload folder feature to import a folder structure on an existing file system and add your existing assets to Mox.

All files inside the folder hierarchy will be included in the uploaded, but the folders themselves will not. Instead of folders, use attributes such as Brand to tag and organize your assets. You can tag your assets when you upload them.

Step 1: On the Assets page of your workspace, open the Assets panel on the left-hand side if it is collapsed.

Step 2: (Optional) You can create a new Asset Collection for the assets you will be uploading or use an existing one.

(Note: You can always go back afterwards and create collections)

Step 3: Click on + Upload or Drag & Drop a folder onto the Assets page.

Step 4: If uploading via the Upload button, the main Upload Assets window will open, click Upload a Folder to browse to the desired folder.

(Note: Currently, your folder name must not contain any spaces)

Step 5: A confirmation window will state how many files reside in the folder and what the folder name is that you are uploading. Click Upload.

Step 6: Review the files you are adding, tag any attributes (such as Brand), and Choose a Collection. When you are finished, click Upload.

The files will be uploaded directly into the Collection if you choose one or no collection. To review the upload status, click on the Upload button located in the left navigation panel. This is useful to review the upload status of your recent uploads.
