Before you can approve or request changes on an asset, you must be invited to participate in a project.

The project could have 1 or many tasks called, Approval Tasks. The Approval Task is a task type in which you are being asked to review, provide comments/feedback and either approve or request changes on 1 or multiple Approval Assets.

Examples of assets that could be marked as needing approval are:

  • Packaging cartons

  • Front, back and neck labels for jars, bottles, etc

  • Marketing campaigns

How to Complete your Approval Task

Step 1: From the Home page, find your review task and click to open the Task Performer page. Alternately, navigate to a project that you’ve been invited and open it.

Step 2: Click the Review button to open the Mox Review tool or if you want to open a specific asset first, hover on its row and click the Review button.

Step 3: Use the Markup Tools if you want to comment on the asset. Select a Rectangle Annotation Tool, an Oval Annotation Tool, a Freehand Annotation Tool, or a Highlight Annotation Tool to document your change(s).

Step 4: When you are ready to finish your review task, choose one of the following in the Set Approval section:

  1. If you are OK with the asset, click on the green √ to Approve the asset.

  1. If the asset requires changes, click on the red X to Request Changes on the asset.

Step 5: If you set the approval state to Changes Requested, type a comment that provides information to support your request. When finished, click Done.

Step 6: If you have more than one asset in your task to review, use the drop-down adjacent to the asset’s filename that you are viewing or the arrow at the bottom to navigate to another asset. Repeat Steps 3 – 5 as necessary.

Step 7: When you have finished your task review, a pop-up will appear to indicate that you completed your task.

  1. If you want to remain in your review session, click Back to Review.

  1. If you are done, click Done.

Step 8: When you exit your review session, you return to the Task Performer page. Click Done.

Note: The Approval and Request Change action buttons will remain visible in the viewer until the asset is either Approved and Locked or Request Changes and Locked.

This provides users with the flexibility to add, update or remove comments on the asset until is locked.
