Before using task comments, you must have access to your Mox workspace and be a member of the project or the project owner.
In this help article, we will cover adding comments, editing comments, replying to comments, and deleting comments.
All comment activity will be shown in the History of the project.
Any project member who has access to the project can comment or reply.
A user can only edit or delete their own comments and replies.
Replies are all nested under the main comment; you can only reply to the original comment, not individual replies.
Adding, editing, replying, and deleting comments can be performed from the Tasks list in the project or from the task performer page.
You need to complete any comment action before you can add or edit any other comment.
Add Comment
A comment can be added to a task while in the project overview or in the task performer view.
Add comments while in the project overview
Step 1: Navigate to the Home page or the Projects page of your workspace, and click on one of the projects shown. This will open your selected project.
Step 2: Click on the task that you want to add a comment on to open the task details.
Step 3: Click on + Add Task Comment from the task details panel.
Step 4: Type in your comment, and click Post. The comment is added and will include how long ago it was added along with your username and avatar. If you hover "X amount of time ago, " you will see the day and time the comment was added.
Note: The comment field allows for multiple lines of text. Mox comment fields support browser emojis as well as line breaks.
Add comments in the task performer
Step 1: Navigate to the Home page of your workspace, and click on one of the tasks shown under My Tasks. This will open the task performer screen.
Step 2: Click on + Add Task Comment or Reply to an existing comment.
(For this example, we are adding a new comment)
Step 3: Type in your comment, and click Post. The comment is added and will include how long ago it was added along with your username and avatar. If you hover "X amount of time ago, " you will see the day and time the comment was added.

Mention (tag) Users or Groups
Step 1: Create a new task comment or reply to an existing task comment.
Step 2: Type the @ symbol to view the list of users and groups who have access to projects.
Step 3: Select the user, group, or everyone from the list, and continue with your comment or reply.
Step 4: Click Post.
Step 5: An email will be sent to the individual user mentioned or to all of the members of the mentioned group.
Note: If you edit a comment containing a mention, the user mentioned will receive another email providing them with the updated comment.

Edit Comment
Step 1: Navigate to the comment you want to edit. You can edit the comment from the task details by selecting a task in the list of the project or from the task performer page. Click on the ...menu in the comment's upper right-hand corner.
Step 2: Click on Edit. Make the necessary changes to the comment and click on Update. The comment will show an "Edited" indicator; on hover, it will indicate the day/time of the edit.

Reply to Comment
Step 1: Navigate to the comment you want to reply to. Click on the Reply button. You can Reply to the comment from the task details by selecting a task in the list of the project or from the task performer page. Click on the ...menu in the comment's upper right-hand corner.

Delete a Comment
Step 1: Navigate to the comment or reply you want to delete. Click on the ...menu located in the upper right-hand corner of the comment.
Step 2: Click on Delete.
Step 3: Click comment or reply on the confirmation window.
