Before creating an approval task, you must have access to your Mox workspace and a role other than View and Download or View Only. This procedure will apply to only specific assets in your project. If you need to have approval tasks in your project that are associated with all assets, see “How to Create an Approval Task for ALL assets in your Project” for help.

Step 1: From the Home or Projects page, navigate to one of your projects and open it.

Step 2: On the OVERVIEW page in the Assets section of your project, you can hover on the asset row for a single specific asset and click Request Approval.

To add Approval for multiple assets, select them and click Request Approval.

Step 3: In either case, you can update the name task name from the default. Enter an Owner and Due Date and Notes (both are optional). Click Create.

Note: If the 'owner' is not already a Mox team member, enter the email address into the field, and click Invite. The newly invited member will receive an email to join your mox workspace.

Step 4: The approval task for specific assets appears in the Tasks section. If you need to update this task, click in its task row to open the task details. The approval task details panel opens.

Step 5: (Optional) If you need to convert the task to a standard task in the Approval Candidates section, click and select X Remove Candidates. See “How to Create a Standard Task” if you need help on other configuration details.

Step 6: (Optional) If the task will be dependent on other tasks, you can add Dependencies.

Step 7: When you finish editing the approval task, click on your project's OVERVIEW page to close the task details.
