Adding Attributes to an Existing Project

Before you can add attributes to your existing project, you must have access to your MOX workspace and have a role other than View and Download or View Only.

Step 1: On the Home page of your workspace, click on one of your existing projects shown in My Projects. This will open your selected project.

Step 2: On the OVERVIEW tab of your project, in the Project Attributes section, click the Gear icon to Edit project attributes. Click + Add Attribute to select existing attributes. If you know the values for the attribute, set them now or this can be done later.

Step 3: If you need to add an attribute that doesn’t exist, select + Create Attribute. Type the name of the new attribute, from the drop-down, select the attribute type. Click the Checkmark when you are done. Now, you can add attribute values for the new attribute.

Step 4: Repeat steps 2 and 3 until you have the attributes required for your project. When you are done, click the Checkmark to Stop editing project attributes.

Step 5: (Optional) If you want to re-use this set of project attributes and have them in place when creating a new project, select … and from this menu, select Save Project as Template. When you create future projects, select the template that you saved.

NOTE: These attributes that you added to the project from the project overview and the values that you set will only be associated with this project’s assets. When you create your next project, it will not have the attributes that you added to this existing project.
